The North West Audio Show which takes place on the weekend of June the 18th to 19th at the De Vere Cranage Estate, Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, is not just a great destination for the audio and music lover in your family. A huge part of the appeal of the location of NWAS is that there is just so much to do in the surrounding area and as such makes the perfect day, or even weekend away for the whole family.

We’ve put together a short list of some selected attractions within a short drive of the show so that members of the family who aren’t as passionate about audio as others can still enjoy a fantastic day out.

If shopping is more your kind of thing then the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet will be right up your street with over 140 designer stores filled with fashion, homewares and more.

Open Daily the Blue Planet Aquarium right next door to the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is a fantastic day out for the family.  The aquarium has more than 100 living displays as well as one of Europe’s largest collections of sharks. Visitors can see animals at close quarters and learn about them and their habitats.

In addition, you can explore the exotic freshwater fish of South America in the flooded forest area or explore the coral cave which is full of colourful and exotic fish that inhabit coral reefs. A must visit is the 71m long underwater shark tunnel where you can see these majestic creatures swimming around and overhead.
