British loudspeaker manufacturer Ophidian will be featuring in two systems this year. Firstly with the award winning FFION speakers (£8,500) in the Faraday Suite upstairs on the 1st floor. These 3-way floorstanders pack a punch with a hidden bass driver and are available in both wood finishes as well as custom lacquered in any colour imaginable. The sleekly tapered cabinet allows FFION to fit a powerful 8” drive unit discreetly in the base while the slim upper cabinet produces an enhanced soundstage with imaging characteristic of a much smaller speaker. Secondly, the world first showing of our latest stand mount loudspeaker – SEREN
These brand new standmount speakers will be on show in the Audio Dreams room downstairs (room 105).
SEREN features a traditionally styled cabinet beautifully veneered in real wood and using high-quality crossover components from Mundorf and tweeters from SEAS.
Our unique Aeroflex bass loading technology allows the 7″ woofer to produce smooth room filling sound with excellent dynamics while binding posts from industry leaders WBT provide a secure connection.
SEREN will be available from July in oak and walnut finishes, priced at
£2,800 inc. VAT in the UK.
