Chord Company Brings Latest Cable Tech and Live Demos to North West Audio Show
June 20, 2025British audio manufacturer Moor Amps will introduce the Moor Amps Angel-4i at North West Audio Show 2025.
The Angel-4i is a new integrated amplifier that combines elements of two existing models—the Angel-4 power amplifier and the Angel-Pre preamplifier—into a single unit.
MOOR AMPS ANGEL-4i SHARES DESIGN DNA WITH ANGEL-6
The Moor Amps Angel-4i inherits the three-island power supply architecture used in the larger Angel-6 model. It incorporates a passive preamplifier section based on the Angel-Pre and is designed to fit standard rack systems. The upgraded power supply is intended to support consistent and transparent performance.
The Moor Amps Angel-4i includes four RCA inputs, a Unity-Gain input for AV system integration, and a tape loop for use with three-head tape or cassette decks. The output stage uses four ring-emitter transistors to maintain linear operation when driving more demanding loads.

FOCUS ON LOW FEEDBACK AND HIGH CURRENT
The amplifier follows a low-feedback design while delivering the current required to drive a range of loudspeakers. This approach aligns with Moor Amps’ aim to balance control and musical accuracy without resorting to complex circuit correction.
MOOR AMPS TO EXHIBIT IN ROOM 209 AT CRANAGE 2025
Moor Amps founder Tim Narramore will be on hand at North West Audio Show 2025, to demonstrate the new Angel-4i. Visitors can hear the amplifier in Room 209, alongside the rest of the Angel amplifier range.
