HOLMES CHAPEL, HARRY STYLES, AND THE NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW

As well as being the home to arguably the UK’s most friendly audio show (The North West Audio Show) Holmes Chapel in Cheshire also has the claim to fame as being where pop sensation Harry Styles comes from. 

For years, fans of the pop star have been flocking to the Cheshire town’s train station’s ticket office to visit a cardboard cutout of Harry Styles and to sign a visitors book where they can “send” personalised messages. 

Fans of the star, called “Harries”, can now attend guided tours offered by the Holmes Chapel Partnership. 

The Guardian newspaper reports that the tours last about three hours, cost £20 and start of from the Holmes Chapel train station, visits Mandeville’s bakery where Styles once worked, and can pose with a huge picture of the star. The tours are run by the Holmes Chapel Partnership.

The tour ends at Twemlow Viaduct where it is reported that Harry had his first kiss and then wrote his name on the viaduct’s bricks – shown in the film of the One Direction documentary “This is Us”. 

Now, we can’t guarantee that Harry will pop along to North West Audio Show in person, but if you or your family are fans of Mr Styles, then it makes for yet another compelling reason to come along to the North West Audio Show that takes place at the De Vere Cranage Estate in Holmes Chapel on the 22nd and 23rd June.
